Every 20 seconds, someone in the U.S. breaks a bone as a result of osteoporosis. Help to improve patient care and support for those who have already broken bones due to osteoporosis and protect future generations from this disease.
What is Osteoporosis?
It’s a progressive disease that lowers the density of bones over time, making them weaker and more likely to fracture. Even a fragility fracture, which is when you break a bone from simply falling from a standing height or lower, can impact day-to-day life.
Colorado Spine Institute raises money to assist the National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF) in their mission to educate the public and health professionals on ways to prevent, diagnose and treat osteoporosis. Your support will help us provide better care for those suffering from osteoporosis and build generations of strength to continue our fight against osteoporosis.

The National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF) is the leading health organization dedicated to preventing osteoporosis and broken bones, promoting strong bones for life and reducing human suffering through programs of public and clinician awareness, education, advocacy and research. Established in 1984, NOF is the nation’s only health organization solely dedicated to osteoporosis and bone health.
Osteoporosis Support Community
The National Osteoporosis Foundation works to ensure that everyone affected by osteoporosis has a place to turn for support. As a result, NOF and Inspire partnered to create a safe and secure online osteoporosis support community. The NOF Support Community offers a place to meet others, ask questions and share information about osteoporosis and bone health through the Internet.
